Hey everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day 🙂
It’s exam time at the University of Guelph, I finished my last class this morning and am busy studying for exams! I can’t believe my first year of University is almost over, time sure flies when your having fun.
This year has been such a great experience for me and I am so blessed that I was given the opportunity to go to University to study Art. Not only am I learning new skills, but I’m learning new skills in the subject area that is most important to me! As well as taking basic courses in other areas that interest me.
This semester in my studio class, we were given an assignment called ‘Ugly Babies’. At first I was a little creeped out by the concept of having to paint an ugly baby, however, it was quite rewarding in the end. The assignment allowed us to experiment with the use of colours and allowed us to be more free. I had a lot of fun doing my paintings. They only took a couple of days but I like how they turned out. The instructions were simple: Only use the three primary colours to create numerous different shades and hues for our paintings.
This was the outcome.!
Well.. back to studying, but Ill talk to you soon 🙂
