Today was an exciting day full of appearances! You’ll hear all about the second half of my day later, but for now, let me tell you about why Monday is now one of my favourite days of the week.
7am Wakeup Call
I started my morning off with teaching a dance class at St Theresa Catholic Secondary School! In the spirit of Tyler Shaw Live In Concert, I choreographed a combo for the students to “Dizzy” by Tyler Shaw. It was such a fun class to teach! Tons of hair whips and knee slides later, a combo was established!
This was the first time I’ve been invited to teach a class at a school I’m not directly affiliated with; so thank you so much St Theresa Catholic Secondary School for reaching out to me!
After teaching a combo to the dance class, Ms PL invited me to speak about my title to her grade 9 drama class. I spoke about my platform, clarify that there’s more to a pageant then dresses and swimsuits, and talk about Free The Children!
Later on, I made a visit to Linguine’s Italian Restaurant. They supported me as a journeyed to Miss Teenage Ontario, so I thought to stop by and update them on where I am now in my journey. Meanwhile, we even snapped a picture!
Thanks Linguine’s Italian Restaurant for the ongoing support!
The next part of the day took me out of the city, but you’ll have to wait for another blog post before you hear about that experience!
