Holy guacamole have I ever been busy this week! My goal was to publish this post no later than Tuesday, but my studies had me all tied up. But like all Friday’s, I’m now on a train home to prep for the exciting weekend to come. Train time is perfect blogging time.
Last Sunday, I attended my second event as a titleholder. Angela Maracle Studios is fundraising for their upcoming performances. I was invited to be apart of this past weekend’s Multi-Family Garage Sale fundraiser! Everyone I spoke to throughout the event, from the customers to those related to Angela Maracle Studios, were very supportive. To top the event, I was even invited for a sneak peak of select dances. Heart warming people and young talent are two things I cannot help but smile about – thank you Angela Maracle Studios for a great day!
What’s Happening Next!
They haven’t seen the last of me though! Sunday, March 20th is their annual Send Off. This year, it is being held at Stirling Theatre from 1-2:30pm. I am excited to be attending this show as both an audience member and a guest speaker. For FREE, come watch the next generation of dancers put on a fantastic performance, as well as hear the little speech I am planning to present.
Sunday will be an exciting day, but I’m so glad that Saturday won’t be any less wonderful! Saturday, March 19th I will be attending the 1st Annual Winter Warm Up Craft Sale and Kids Activity Area. From 10am – 2pm, I will be situated at the main entrance of the King Edward Park Arena And Community Center in Brighton ready to meet you! By request to look like Elsa, additional to my sash and crown, I will be dressed in my blue evening gown. This is another free event to attend, so come come come!
A business I will be blogging a lot more about later on is Dippity Doo Face and Body Art. Alicia, who is the artist of this home-originated body art business, has supported me since the very beginning of my pageant journey. This talented local helped me abundantly to fundraise for Cardiac Kids by donating her face painting service. This weekend, she will be helping me fundraise for my journey to nationals! Alicia will be making balloon animals throughout the event, and is generously donating all proceeds from it to help me fundraise for nationals! Bring your kids, their friends, and their friend’s friends, to the arena anytime during the event and buy a balloon animal from her.
Thank you Alicia for your on going support!
I hope everyone had a lucky St Patty’s day!
May your luck only get better,
Miss Teenage South Central Ontario 2016
